About
General Winter
A turn-based strategy game on a hex board: deploy infantry, cavalry and artillery with 15 Resource Points, use the terrain, flank instead of charging head-on, and capture the enemy General's flag before they take yours. This free version has two maps, two AI levels and online 1v1. The Desktop Edition adds the map maker, the Reflection AI, Modern rules, fog of war and save files.
- Win by destroying the enemy army or capturing their flag. Keep your own flag safe.
- Head-on rule: infantry can't hit infantry or heavy cavalry head-on, and light cavalry can't hit infantry head-on. Swing in at an angle.
- Water and hills cost 2 movement; mountains block movement entirely.
- Two kills make a Veteran: veteran infantry move +1, veteran artillery reach +1.
