About the game
You left Hood Heights looking for a better life, and it did not work out. Now you are back with one bag, one room and rent coming due, and somewhere out there is the person you never stopped thinking about, who left this town too. This time you mean to make it here, and to bring the block up with you.
Days run twenty real minutes from dawn to dark. Hunger builds, energy drains, and the weekly rent goes up as your name starts to carry. Pick up custodian shifts and contractor work, take odd jobs off the community board, fix up the fishing boat and sail out for bass and blue marlin, grow flowers in your loft, cook, sew and sell from your own stall, or take a quieter kind of work after dark. Street Cred opens gates and districts; a hidden reputation decides how people talk to you.
The road runs through the River District, Rust Bucket, City Park and the Commercial District, each with its own people, favors and secrets that no marker points to. At the end of it stands the City Center tower: win a Tuesday rap battle and a Thursday cook-off, find somebody to vouch for you, and Floor 10 can be yours. The game keeps going after the credits, and the penthouse still has bills.

Features
Twenty-minute days, weekly rent, warm and cold seasons, rain and night. Eat, sleep and pay up, or pay the price.
From the River District to Rust Bucket, City Park and downtown. Each gate wants Street Cred, a favor or the fare.
Hold up to three jobs, run errands off the community board, fish, garden, cook, craft and sew, and open your own stall.
Street Cred unlocks doors and better stock. A hidden reputation shifts how everyone talks to you, and it drifts back if you let it.
Take the mic on Tuesdays and plate your best catch on Thursdays at the City Center to earn a meeting with the Tower Boss.
Buy Floor 10 and the story goes on: maintenance that climbs, rent you can sponsor for the block, and someone you left behind.
Questions
Both are the full game. The Standard Edition ($12.99) is planned for Steam. The Supporter Edition ($19.99) will be sold directly by GodWinds and adds Ultra graphics, community mods and the Environment Modifier, with updates straight from the studio.
No. Hood Heights is drawn on the CPU, so a recent processor and an SSD matter most. Integrated graphics are fine, and Low graphics helps older laptops.
Not yet. Hood Heights is played with keyboard and mouse, and the Action and run keys can be rebound.
You save by sleeping: in your apartment bed, on a park bench or at a few other places you will find. There is one save slot, kept on your PC or, if you turn it on, in the cloud.
