About the game
You wake on the road into Veil. A fence and a dark forest run down both sides. Four houses sit ahead. If you turn around, the river and a wooden gazebo are behind you. The lamp by the sign is still lit.
You came as an investigator, to find out why this town emptied. You took the job because your own family vanished from a winter wreck. The police said they died. The seats were empty, and there were no bodies.
Veil looks abandoned, then it looks wrong. Lamps flicker on a dead grid. Paper moves when there is no wind. Figures stand at the end of the road and are gone when you look straight at them. Search the houses, read what people left, and decide what you believe.
